E Gram Swaraj portal & the mobile app will be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 24 April 2020. At the occasion of National Panchyati Raj Day Modi interacted with Sarpanchds from across the nation via video conferencing at launch a new portal www.egramswaraj.gov.in along with portal’s app. 



The Prime Minister will dispatch the unified E Gram Swaraj gateway and a mobile application on this event, as indicated by the service. 



Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address different gram panchayats the nation over on Friday and dispatch a unified e-GramSwaraj entrance and a mobile application on National Panchayati Raj Day, the Union Ministry of Panchayati Raj said on Wednesday. 



As the nation is observing social separating through the nationwide lockdown to battle the Covid-19 pandemic, the Prime Minister would interact with different members through video conferencing, the service said in a statement. 

National Panchayati Raj Day is celebrated on April 24 as it denotes a defining moment throughout the entire existence of decentralization of power to the grassroots, with the regulation of Panchayati Raj through the Constitution (73rd Amendment) Act, 1992, which came into force on April 24, 1993. 



The Prime Minister will dispatch the unified E-Gram Swaraj entry and a mobile application on this event, as per the service. 



The entry is a new initiative of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj which will provide the gram panchayats with a single interface to prepare and implement their Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP). 



The Prime Minister will likewise dispatch the Swamitva Scheme on the event. The scheme provides for an integrated property approval answer for rustic India; the demarcation of inhabited land in country areas would be done by the use of latest surveying methods — Drone technology with the collaborated efforts of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, State Panchayati Raj Departments, State Revenue Departments and Survey of India. 



Every year, on this event, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj has been granting the best performing panchayats/states/UTs the nation over under the Incentivisation of Panchayats program in recognition of their great work for improving the delivery of services and open products.
